Pemeliharaan jaringan irigasi adalah upaya menjaga dan mengamankan jaringan irigasi agar selalu dapat berfungsi dengan baik guna memperlancar pelaksanaan operasi dan mempertahankan kelestariannya melalui kegiatan perawatan, perbaikan, pencegahan dan pengamanan yang harus dilakukan secara terus menerus. Ruang lingkup kegiatan pemeliharaan jaringan meliputi;
- Inventarisasi kondisi jaringan irigasi
- Perencanaan
- Pelaksanaan
- Pemantauan dan evaluasi
Pada kesempatan kali ini Dinas Pekerjaan Umum Dan Penata Ruang ( DPUPR ) Kabupaten Ngawi bidang Sumber Daya Air (SDA) melakukan kegiatan pembinaan UPTD di beberapa Wilayah. Wilayah Tersebut meliputi;
- UPTD Wilayah I Kecamatan Kendal.
- UPTD Wilayah II Kecamatan Padas.
- UPTD Wilayah III Kecamatan Ngrambe.
- UPTD Wilayah IV Kecamatan Kedunggalar.
- UPTD Wilayah V Kecamatan Widodaren.
Bidang Sumber Daya Air ( SDA ) PUPR Ngawi dalam kesempatannya melakukan Evaluasi dan Monitoring pelaksanaan dan peningkatan kinerja dalam memahami tugas pokok dan fungsi penyelenggaraan Operasi dan Pemeliharaan Irigasi. Sehingga kegiatan Operasi dan Pemeliharaan jaringan irigasi dapat dimanfaatkan secara Optimal.
